When it comes to super yachts, the 126 metre Octopus would have to be up there with the best of them. Designed and built by German shipbuilders and naval architects
Lurssen Yachts and Espen Oeino in 2003, Octopus has eight Mercedes engines, a steel hull and superstructure that is predominantly aluminium, decks mainly done with teak, a 21 metre beam and a draught of 5.85 metres. Sam Sorgiovanni was instrumental in designing and fitting out much of the interior along with Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd.
